Schools

Why not offer your pupils the chance to learn about another country's history, culture and society by discussing the work of Children in Crisis in one of your lessons?

By adopting one of our programmes, lessons can be brought to life, providing your pupils with the chance to learn about the lives of children from around the world. The work of Children in Crisis and the lives of the children we help can be used to help teach vital parts of the curriculum such as lessons in citizenship and geography.

Not only will supporting Children in Crisis help provide diversity to your lessons, but fundraising can be an excellent motivator for your classes whilst helping us to continue our valuable work.

A teacher, whose class has just raised money for children in Sierra Leone said, "It was a great way for the children to learn about another country and the children who live there. It was also great fun raising money to help children less fortunate than ourselves."

We have recently developed a pack for schools keen to learn about Afghanistan and raise money for our projects there. If you would like a copy, simply download the pack below or email the address below to request a copy.
